Data Center Operations Manager (Night Shift)

Google isn't just a software company. The Hardware Operations team is responsible for monitoring the state-of-the-art physical infrastructure behind Google's powerful search technology.

• Oversee the day-to-day management of teams within data center operations.
• Work together to identify and resolve problems and create solutions for the global computing and network architecture.
• Manage the implementation of projects within the team and effectively communicate business priorities and facilitate hands-off operations to following shift leads.
• Hire, coach and develop a team while achieving strategic business goals and demonstrate the ability to implement and drive the safety culture at the site, while fostering collaborative team environment.
• Ensure data center-related priorities are consistent with company objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware.
• 2 years of experience managing technical teams, vendor or contract management and delivery.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.
